Children Of The Rush Diorama

For literacy we have been working on a diorama of the book that we’ve been reading. The part of the story was were doing the part when the boy and his father were they were looking for gold in the river and when they found a lot of little flakes of gold. We first had to get a shoe box to make the diorama when we got the shoe box  and we started the diorama then we got 2 pieces of black paper and got glue to glue it to the box for the night sky.Next we got some paint the colours we used were blue and green after we tried making a house but then we decided when the clay dried we would make a path but while we waited for it to dry we made a river were the boy and his father found the gold. Lastly we got something to make a tree and got some rocks and flowers.

Swimming

Once there was a lady in the pool of clear water. The water was shimmering just like metal directly in the sun. The water was refreshing on her skin as she was gliding foreword with the water splashing around her. She was swimming foreword with all her strength. Her shoulder is shimmering from the light while her shoulder was also glossy from the water in the pool. She was wearing a swim cap it was white and the goggles were black on her head and she also had a dark blue togs with a hole at the back with a cross . She was swimming in a lane the colour of the lane rope was red and blue. She was doing freestyle from the start to the finish.

I Can Add Decimals

Today I have been working on poly pad so I can add decimals by adding more to make the other side equal. I found out that 0.5=0.167+0.333. This helped me work out what the answer was to 0.5.

If you had a chance to do this what would you do?

Reflection Week 4

Alex Warren – the Trailblazer

We have been learning to use because, but and so to make our sentences more interesting.

Alex warren is a trailblazer in music because he pursued music as a way to cope with and process difficult experiences particularly the loss of his father.

Alex warren is a trailblazer in music but he still remembers his father even though his father died.

Alex warren is a trailblazer in music so he is an inspiration to keep on going even if its hard to move on.

Who is your favourite trailblazer?

Toy challenge

Today we started to make a toy from air dry clay it was cool we did not get to the air dry clay I enjoyed designing the toy and designing the container. The thing that made it challenging was designing the toy. The changes I would make is the body shape of the toy. It was fun design!
